Joe Cozzi

Since the clubbing age of 16, Joe has had an insatiable appetite for dancing, and collecting music and had been studying guitar for some time, but it wasn't until the fall of 1998 that Joe began his relationship with the turntables. His love and passion for music led to his graduating from the University of Miami School of Music's Music Engineering Technology Program. He mixes in almost every genre of music including deep house, progressive and trance. Currently Joe is working alongside long-time DJ, Miami native Jorge Vidal to produce progressive house tracks, some of which will be featured on Amplitude Recordings as well as a few European dance compilations due out later this year, also as a producer/arranger/recording engineer/mastering engineer for Sonic Sorcery and Department Of Dance, his DJ production label. And let's not forget he is still a guitarist... he was the live guitarist for phoenix/NEBULIN, a local synth-rock band.
